OUR DENTISTS
Meet Dr. William Peterson
Dr. William Peterson earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, and then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through the US Navy at Great Lakes Naval Station in Illinois. Following this, he served as a naval dental officer in Sasebo, Japan for three years, meeting the dental needs of overseas military families.
Dr. Peterson has been happily married to his wife, Laura, for over twenty-five years. They have two beautiful daughters, Grace and Samantha, whom they adore. He is a committed Christian and strives to bring honor to God in all he does.
Dr. Peterson favors a conservative approach to dentistry, focusing on prevention, education, and a minimally invasive approach. To achieve this goal, our practice employs proven state-of-the-art techniques and technologies including digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, surgical loupes, diagnostic lasers, and a CEREC 3D CAD/CAM digital impression and milling unit. Communication is essential to success, so he aims to clearly explain all options and recommendations to his patients.
Giving back to the community is one of Dr. Peterson’s passions. Since 2015, he has served as a dental director for the Seattle King County Clinic, which provides free dental, medical, and vision care to the underserved in the community. He’s also an affiliate faculty member at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry. Recently, he was honored to become a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an organization that recognizes professionalism, integrity, and ethics in dentistry worldwide.

Meet Dr. Andrew Franklin
Dr. Andrew Franklin, a native Seattleite, has been a dentist in private practice for nine years, serving the greater Seattle area. However, he wasn’t always a dentist. He was a local high school science teacher for ten years. He returned to school to study dentistry at the University of Washington as a married guy with a wife, four kids, a mortgage, and a minivan! He remembers running into his former students while studying at the UW School of Dentistry. It always took him by surprise to hear one of them call out, “Mr. Franklin? Is that you? What are you doing here?” His background in education informs many aspects of his current clinical practice. He listens carefully to patients’ histories and concerns. When issues come up, he lays out the options and clearly communicates what patients need to know so they can make informed decisions.
Dr. Franklin is passionate about creating an office renowned for its quality of care, from the moment patients step through the door. We combine the best new technology with a warm friendly staff and a laser focus on patients having a wonderful experience. (Yes! Wonderful!) He believes a visit to the dentist can (and should) be wonderful. Great experiences lead to a level of trust that eases anxiety and creates long-lasting relationships—that is what matters to us!
Dr. Franklin is committed to advanced continuing education. He participates in study clubs and lectures. He is also a member of the Seattle-King County Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He is particularly interested in restorations that combine his love of art and aesthetics with the science of dentistry and solving complicated dental issues.
In his free time, Dr. Franklin spends time with his family. A perfect day always includes a great cup of coffee with his wife. He mows his own lawn and likes to shoot hoops with his kids in the driveway. He’s dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and cooks most nights for his family. If you see him in the office, ask him what he’s making for dinner that night!
